Corporate Social Responsibility

Basic Charitable Trust was registered in Kottayam, Kerala on 16th January 2012 under Indian Charitable Trust Act 1882.
It is a non profit organization which obtains resources from two sources
1. Basic Clinic - a Profit-For-Charity Enterprise.
2. Donations.
Basic Charitable channels its resources mainly towards Education and Health Care.
All donations to Basic Charitable Trust are eligible for deduction under the 80G of the IT Act.

The Trustees do not take any remuneration from the Basic Charitable Trust.

The Trust owns 10 Tribal schools in Wayanad which provides basic education to the tribal children.

Providing Van facility to pick-up and drop-off students at Govt. Town LP School, Kottayam.

Operates and Maintains Drinking water facility for patients at Medical College Hospital, Kottayam.

Donated 42" LCD Television for viewing by by-standers outside Casualty Ward at Medical College Hospital, Kottayam.

Donated 42" LCD Television for viewing by by-standers at the Lounge in General Ward at Medical College Hospital, Kottayam.

Donated Waiting Chairs for by-standers at the Lounge in General Ward at Medical College Hospital, Kottayam.

Donated Water Purifiers for use by patients at Institute of Child Health (ICH), Kottayam.

Donated 42" LCD Television for viewing by by-standers at Lounge of Institute of Child Health (ICH), Kottayam.

Donated 2 numbers of 32" LCD Television for viewing by patients undergoing kidney dialysis at District Hospital, Kottayam.
